AIS Services is currently seeking experienced Skip-Tracer/Investigator.

This position requires expertise in the area of locating debtors and debtors’ assets to facilitate the debt-collection process. The applicant must be extremely familiar with on-line skip-tracing tools and databases such as Accurint, Interactive Data, Merlin, MasterFiles, Inquisitor and others.

The applicant must have strong communication and organizational skills, be well-organized, presentable and have an assertive personality as well as extensive knowledge of FDCPA to ensure compliance with Federal regulations while searching for debtors or debtors’ assets. Experience as a debt-collector is a plus.

This position requires the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to cope with pressure on multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines, ability to work independently and creatively to develop new processes and procedures as needed; ability to work effectively and efficiently and cooperatively with fellow co-workers; detail oriented and a team player, able to work with others in a courteous and cooperative manner.

As we will hire immediately, we ask that only qualified candidates respond. Lack of specific expertise in the skip-tracing arena will immediately disqualify candidates.

In addition, the qualified candidates will possess the following skills:

·         Must have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Internet.

Compensation Range: $30,000-$36,000 per year depending on experience with mid-yearly reviews. Health Benefits available after 90 day probationary period is completed.

AIS Services is currently seeking experienced Call-Center Collection Agent.

To contact debtors with delinquent accounts and discuss solutions to resolve their delinquency and make appropriate payment arrangements ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

Duties include maintaining an inventory of accounts, calling debtors using a predictive/power dialer, skip-tracing, debtor-locating, asset searches, analyzing accounts and making recommendations regarding legal action. Proper telephone etiquette and strong communication skills are imperative. Effective problem solving skills using logic, exploring alternatives and proposing high-quality solutions.

Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment. Organizational skills are a must. Position requires a thorough understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Qualified applicants must pass an FDCPA test. Each collector has pre-established monthly collection goals.

In addition, the qualified candidates will possess the following skills:

·         A minimum of three years experience in the debt-collection field.

·         Computer literacy and familiarity with the Internet

·         Familiarity with collection procedures and debt-collection software.

·         Skip-tracing knowledge and ability using various web-based tools

·         Experience working with a predictive dialer a plus

Compensation Range: $24,000 to $30,000 base per year depending on experience. Generous commission structure. Annual earning potential of $60,000+. Health Benefits available after 90 day probationary period is completed. Employment is at-will.
